Holiday Island is located on the tip of South Ari-Atoll, just 97km from Male International Airport, approximately 35 minutes by air or two and half hours ride by fast boat. The length of the island is approximately 700m, while its width is approximately 100m.

The design for Holiday Island reveals a grouping of low-rise rectangular-shaped individual bungalows joined by covered walkways. The main complex is surrounded by landscaped gardens amidst tropical vegetation and crystal clear sea, thus offering the visitor an enchanting view of undulating greens interspersed with azure sea. The word Dhiffushi&rd is a Dhivehi word meaning long uninhabited island.
